There is a great sense of calmness radiating from this image. The quiet room and a soft, warm fire offers much comfort and content. The glow effect you've done is nice, too, especially off the table and lamp. Basil looks cozy as well as exhausted after a long day of handling cases or other stressful events. This is a spot (and position) in his home that he probably ends up in the most. Now, please don't be upset, but I must be honest and say there is only one thing I dislike: how you've drawn his feet. The ankle is a bit too wide and the toes are unusually thick. Even though he wore shoes the whole time in the film, his ankles are much more slender and his feet are long and narrow. Other then that, this is a very lovely drawing.
